Miracles are all around us. Do you see them? Look closer and they will pop out at you.

Today I behold the miracle in all of life. I look at the animals and I witness the splendid color in each. I pay attention to the uniqueness. No two are alike. This awesome miracle is evident in all of life. No two of anything is exactly alike.

That is a Powerful God that can create each individual living thing unique. The colors of the flowers are so different, so vibrant, and so absolutely colorful. Even petals growing from the same plant are different. I am an observer of life. I love the wonderment of it all. God is Awesome! God paints the landscape with remarkable colors. The varieties are lovely; roses, lilies, daisies, daffodils, orchids…

App of the day: Google

I used to use Safari’s search field or Siri up until Google introduced Google Now and it caught my attention.

Google app provides voice search, which understands my pronunciation better than Siri and now you can view cards related to the things you recently searched for. From the main window you can also view the local weather and set reminders.

App of the day: Compass

Today’s find is a Compass app. I wasn’t satisfied with the one that comes with an iPhone as it wasn’t accurate and was looking for something better.

Apart from using it while hiking in the woods, this app might be useful for those wanting to find Qibla direction or for the ones that want to change the furniture in the house according to feng shui. Whatever your reason might be, this app is super easy and precise.

App of the day: RxmindMe

RxminMe is an app that can help you track the medicine / vitamins you’re taking and with helpful reminders.

It is easy-to-use and is very useful to keep all your medications history in one place. You can also extract the data from the app and send it to your doctor. App also allows you to take pictures of the medicine / vitamins / supplements.

You can also order refills from Walgreens.

It’s my savior as I always tend to forget to take my vitamins, especially if I need to take them at different times of the day.

Мобильное приложение дня: Citylife

Citylife – это путеводитель по ресторанам, мероприятиям и развлечениям Баку.

В мобильном приложении есть почти всё, что и на сайте Citylife.az – рубрикатор заведений, просмотр событий по датам, а также определение ближайшего кафе / музея / клуба по вашей геолокации.

Однако, именно эта, весьма полезная функция, у меня не работает. У меня сложилось ощущение, что приложение с момента разработки не обновлялось.

Я думаю, что и у сайта и его мобильного приложения большой потенциал. Хорошо было бы, чтоб они продолжали развиваться и добавляли новые опции, такие, как рейтинг и отзывы к заведениям, интегрирование и возможность комментирования через социальные сети, а вот если бы они добавили возможность резервации столика онлайн, то им цены бы не было!

App of the day: Baku Airport

Baku Airport is a good app to get the information about arrivals, departures, delays and cancellations, terminal and other useful things.

It comes in very handy if you’re planning to pick someone up from GYD airport.

You can also subscribe to notifications and then you’ll get the info right on your phone once the selected flight has landed, entered the baggage claim, etc., but I wouldn’t solely rely on this info as they tend to come a bit later than in reality. Hopefully, app developers will fix it soon.

Food Network Magazine is my recent discovery from Newsstand app. I love it’s colorful beautiful pictures, cool recipes and it’s design!

I’ll be using it a lot as an inspiration in my art and for preparing yummy food!

I have to mention that iTunes edition of the magazine comes very handy if you own an iPad as it’s with you in the kitchen and you can save the pages and pictures, create albums and mail or share them through social networks, which is very useful!

Album of the day: G I R L by Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams is one of my favorite artists. His and Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” was a theme song of last summer, then was “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke and after that absolutely amazing masterpiece “Happy”.

If I could select a theme song for One Happy Blog and as a soundtrack of my life, that would certainly be “Happy”. I cannot describe enough how much I love it! It’s lyrics, groovy music, to which you just can’t help, but dance and amazing 24 hour music video! This song has been on repeat and writing, doing stuff around the house and painting while listening to it, has been awesome and fun!

24 Hours of Happy!

The phrase that always cheers me up when I hear it is “Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof!” 🙂 Inspired by The Daily Post – Pick Me Up.

Of course, I was super excited when I heard about his recent album G I R L and Pharrell did not disappoint me. I rarely buy the entire album, but this one is so worth it. Every track is absolutely amazing and one track perfectly flows into another and creates a story. I love Pharrell’s vocals and his collaboration with Justin Timberlake (my love) and Alicia Keys (another love) is also awesome!

Thought of the day: Miracles are just around the corner

Some time ago I saw a beautiful blooming purple tree while driving in the neighborhood. I really wanted to take a picture for use in one of my future drawings and few days ago we decided to walk there with my Dad. How much was I surprised to find not just one, but so many other purple blooming trees and flowers and even a waterfall built-in the wall of the park.

We took so many beautiful pictures, that now there is enough material for many more paintings and just had a lot of fun.

Spring is so beautiful and I’m living such a happy life and it all starts with gratitude. When you look on the bright side, when you find things to appreciate and be grateful for (and there are plenty in any situation!) and the more you love God and the Universe, the more it loves you back and shows you miracles all around you, that you didn’t see before! 🙂
