Birthplace (Rural Sindh)

Love love love this! 🙂

Perspectives on Life, the Universe and Everything

desert with
its mystery lanes,
absolutely
stunning planes

People welcoming,
rural scene
million times
I have been

it is still refreshing
earth talks to me
telling all the tales
who succeeded and failed

what happened
to that buddy of mine
losing all hopes
still he shined

life, it travails
still around
walk in Bazaar,
smiles abound

everyone acknowledges
your being, presence
care and affection
no city ignorance

London, New York
Rio and Rome
all seen and measured
nothing like home

and I am home
it feels good
and it should!

  1. beautiful! what a nice flow to your poem and so heart felt. and i so agree: nothing is like home. you are very lucky you have a home and can go home.

    • Thank you so much! Author of this poem is AB and pictures are from his homeland of Pakistan. I found this poem so beautiful that I decided to share it, but I do love traveling and I love my home country as well. There’s nothing like seeing places close to your heart after being away for a while!

  2. Beautiful words in your poem from Pakistan
In language of Farsi we say :
Agar Tu Me khoish Ka bashi khoush navise
Me navise me navise tu me navise
Meaning : If you want to write beautiful poetry
Keep writing keep writing you keep writing
Sindhi language is nice too as well as the region.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙂 What you said about poetry is so beautiful both in Farsi and in English!

Unfortunately, this is not my poem, but my friend in blogosphere AB’s, I just found both the poem and the pictures so amazing that I had to share it with the audience of my blog!

Thanks a lot for stopping by – it is great to see you here! 🙂
