Moulin Rouge!

Moulin Rouge! is one of the classic movies you can watch over and over and every time you find something new and even though you know the plot, you can’t help but empathize with the characters.

First time I saw the movie I was a teenager. Re-watching it now brought a total different emotions and understanding of a beautiful tragic love story.

It’s one of the most colorful movies I’ve seen! I love the costumes, decorations, and, of course, the music! I was amazed by beautiful vocals of Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.

Buz Luhrmann, who also created Romeo + Juliet and The Great Gatsby, knows how to create a genuine theatrical performance in a movie!

The music choice is also very interesting. It consists of cover versions of different songs, such as Madonna’s “Material Girl”, David Bowie’s “Nature boy”, El tango de Roxanne and many others.

Moulin Rouge! was nomonimated 8 times for Oscars at the 74th Academy Awards, winning two (Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design) and 3 Golden Globe Award winner.

Pretty woman

One of the movies I absolutely adore and love watching over and over is Pretty Woman. It makes me believe again in love and fairy tales when I lose hope. And, of course, Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, one of my favorite actors are impeccable in this movie! Love, love, love!

The Rebound movie

Another cute movie I watched today. The story is about a woman in 40s going thru a divorce and meeting a young guy and falling in love with him. Catherine Zeta Jones is one of the most beautiful women on Earth in my opinion and Justin Bartha, her partner in the movie is very cute and has gorgeous blue eyes. And I love the message this movie delivers: If the two are meant to be together, they will end up together, no matter how long it takes, even if it takes some time to be separate from each other, even if it takes 5 years… Believe in love!

The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

Another movie worth watching is “The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past”. Funny, touching and romantic. I recommend watching to all the nice guys who are trying to be jerks to be successful with women 🙂 For guys who are already jerks, it’s already too late, haha=)

Mathew McConaughey is funny and cute as always. Jennifer Garner is charming and Michael Douglas is perfect…
