App of the day: Deezer

I’m getting more and more lucky each day – because there’s another music app that I’ve enjoyed lately – Deezer.

Deezer is a good alternative to Spotify, if you also live in one of the countries where Spotify is not available. It has a good choice of artists and albums, maybe their library is not as huge as Spotify’s, but there’s still a lot of music to listen to.

It is easy-to-use and you can use it in offline mode (lovely isn’t it?). You can like songs, artists, create playlists – most of the basic features that are available in any music player. And there’s also Flow -> it plays music similar to what you liked. And there are also different radio channels based on genre.

You can try the app first few months for free and then sign up for a paid subscription if you like.

This is the main screen and the Flow feature I mentioned. You can also start the Search from here.

The App plays music in the background even if the app itself is not active (huge advantage!) and this is how the lock screen looks.

Radio Station of the day – Lider FM

I’m always hungry for new music and love exploring new stations and new tracks and music videos. Lately, I’ve fallen in love with the local radio station – Lider FM.  In the car I prefer listening to the music from the flash drive, however if you find yourself stuck in the traffic, this station might be your perfect companion as it really helps to calm down and relax. They play jazz, jazzy house, lounge, chill-out and ambient and all these styles perfectly suit my mood and cold and dreamy days of winter.

I listen to Lider FM through the TuneIn app from my iPhone and iPad and there are also thousands of web radio websites that stream this station online. I love the pause function as it allows me to skip the news and enjoy smooth and relaxing music once again.

TuneIn Radio App

Now, this app is absolutely my favorite. I wake up and I turn it on and it’s on all day whenever and wherever wifi is available. From easy to use and neat design to the huge selection of probably all existing radio stations on Earth, this app got my heart and I actually purchased  Pro version, which I rarely do. Pro version removes annoying ads and allows you to record favorite show or a song.

5 stars! See for yourself ->

The app also allows you to view recent radio stations list and it also gives you recommendation based on your previous selection.
